We are delighted to announce that our Sixth Form has been awarded the ‘Highly Commended’ prize in the Prepared for Life category of the Muddy Stilettos School Awards 2024! This is a true testament to the programmes that we offer here at Downe House and to the staff that support our young women as they ready themselves for life Beyond Downe.
We are so proud of our Sixth Form offering and the way in which we prepare our students for life after school. So many members of the community contribute to this and it doesn’t just start in Lower Sixth, our girls are given opportunities to prepare for life from Remove (Year 7) upwards.
I thoroughly enjoyed reflecting on the work that we do when putting together our application for this award and am delighted that we were given this award. Thank you to Muddy Stilettos for recognising us.
