On Friday, Downe House welcomed 40 boys from Ludgrove School for an inspiring and action-packed STEM Day with our Lower Fourth girls.
On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the unique talents, hobbies and achievements of the incredible women who support the Downe House community in their day-to-day roles at the School.
Our second open mic poetry evening, hosted on 13th February 2025, where a love for poetry, storytelling, self-love, friendship (and everything in between) was celebrated.

In July 2024, Bella and Margaret (Upper Fifth/Year 11) had the incredible opportunity to visit India as part of the Global Schools’ Exchange Programme. Last week, we were delighted to welcome 21 students from Marlston House for an inspiring day of hands-on learning. The visit provided an opportunity for the students to explore what the school has to offer at secondary level, with a particular focus on STEM subjects.
