Each year, the Creative Arts Faculty curate a fantastic exhibition of work made by our own budding artists from Lower Fifth (Year 10) to Upper Sixth (Year 13). The art on display comes from all four departments – Art, Textiles, 3D Design and Photography. The Downe House community have the opportunity to enjoy the exhibit whilst visiting us for our Founder’s Weekend.
This year, Downe House are proud to be a part of the Open Studios 2024 programme so we can open our doors to the wider community. The exhibition will be open from 10am-7pm on Monday 1 July and Tuesday 2 July. Groups are welcome to visit and we would be delighted to host local schools!
We ask all visitors to please contact Mrs Kirsten Mortimer (Director of Creative Arts) to arrange their visit. Email mortimerk@downehouse.net.
With displays over two floors of the Murray Centre, this is a vibrant celebration of the hard work and talent of our amazing students and demonstrates a vast array of concepts and techniques in a modern setting.
