Fifty girls from Remove and Lower Fourth took to the stage with confidence and enthusiasm to perform this year’s Lower School Production of ‘Aladdin’ under the expert direction of Head of Extra-Curricular Drama, Mrs Rebecca Watson.
The girls have been rehearsing for the last ten weeks and their hard work paid off in a musical extravaganza enjoyed by a packed audience of parents, staff and girls.
Mrs Watson said, “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with this talented group of enthusiastic and energetic girls on what has always been one of my favourite Disney musicals. The cast have really impressed everyone with their hard work, determination and positivity, and they should all be very proud of what they have achieved. I would like to thank the Musical Director, Miss Rose for the hours she has spent in rehearsals, the AV Department and Mrs Dewsbury for all their help behind the scenes and Ms Garfield for the beautiful costumes.”
