Rather than making a single gift, many of our donors choose to give on a monthly or annual basis. This is a more convenient arrangement for them and it means a great deal to our School, allowing us to plan for the future on the basis of a regular income. Make a regular donation here.

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase your donation by 25p for every £1 you donate by ticking the Gift Aid box on your gift form. Downe House will increase the value of your gift by reclaiming tax from HMRC, at no extra cost to you. Gift Aid is extremely valuable to Downe House – please ensure you tick the relevant box on our donation forms if you are a UK taxpayer, or fill out this brief form to make any past and future donations eligible for Gift Aid.
Your employer may be one of those who will match the gift that you make to a specific charity such as Downe House. Some companies offer this on a pound-for-pound basis, while others will specify the amount they are prepared to give. This can substantially increase the value of your gift to Downe House and we will be happy to supply any relevant information requested by your employer.

Giving your time

Downe House encourages lifelong connections between alumnae, the current School community and past parents and staff. This connection takes the form of networking opportunities, social events and active involvement in the future development of Downe House. 

The support and involvement from our community is a source of great pride for the School. Whether it’s: giving talks and workshops on career pathways, jobs and business ventures; joining or hosting one of our professional networking groups; or facilitating work shadowing or internships.

We would love to hear from anyone who can share their careers advice and guidance at our events. Sharing your experience can help current girls, alumnae and parents build their networks and expand their opportunities. Get in touch at dhsociety@downehouse.net. 

Giving in kind

People generously give to Downe House in all sorts of different ways for which we are incredibly grateful. We are often looking for venues for small or large-scale social events in London and internationally.
